Le caractère Hyper Scrypt a été conçu pour l'exposition Hyper Chapelle. Il a été commandée par AAAAA Atelier à designer Jérémy Landes (Studio Triple).

Hyper Scrypt est une police de caractères moderne à pochoir inspirée de la technique du vitrail utilisée dans la cathédrale de Metz. Elle emprunte la méthode du vitrail en dessinant des trous pour la lumière avec du plomb noir. Cela crée une police de caractères inversée, où les formes des lettres sont dessinées par leurs contre-formes. Hyper Scrypt se situe à l'intersection de trois métaux : le plomb sacré du vitrail, le plomb des caractères d'impression et le métal lourd. Malgré son aspect organique hérité du métal fondu, Hyper Scrypt repose sur une grille rigoureuse, permettant un alignement précis des formes dans les mises en page à plusieurs lignes.

HYPER SCRYPT
In physics, the shower-curtain effect is the phenomenon in which a shower curtain gets blown inward with a running shower. A crypt is a stone chamber beneath the floor of a church or other building. It typically contains coffins, sarcophagi, or religious relics. Cryptography, or cryptology, is the practice and study of techniques for secure communication in the presence of adversarial behavior. More generally, cryptography is about constructing and analyzing protocols that prevent third parties or the public from reading private messages.
